1. Project Overview

The purpose of this project is to enhance the visual and functional aspects of a lifting station facility. The project includes the fabrication and installation of metal/fiber panels, MS tube structural framing, artificial grass installation in open areas, and installation of driveway blocks for improved accessibility.


2. Objectives

  • Improve the aesthetic appeal of the lifting station and plant area.
  • Ensure durability, safety, and accessibility of all installations.
  • Facilitate future maintenance through easily removable panel systems.
  • Maintain functionality and vehicle access to and from the site.

3. Scope of Work

The contractor shall be responsible for the supply, fabrication, and installation of the following:

3.1. Structural Steel Works

  • Supply and installation of MS Tube Structure:
    • Powder-coated.
    • Size: 3x3 inch.
    • Thickness: 3mm.
  • Fabrication and installation of foundation concrete blocks for structural support.

3.2. Cladding and Covering

  • Supply and installation of removable covering panels:
    • Material: Metal or fiber.
    • Thickness: 3mm.
    • Dimensions: 1x2 meters.
    • Total covered area: Approx. 850 sqm including walls and roof.
    • Height: 8 meters from ground level.

3.3. Artificial Grass Installation

  • Surface preparation, levelling, and debris removal.
  • Installation of 30mm thick artificial grass.
  • Total area: Approx. 625 sqm.

3.4. Driveway Block Installation

  • Excavation and levelling of entrance area.
  • Laying of concrete bedding for heavy-duty support.
  • Installation of driveway blocks over 200 sqm area for vehicle movement.

4. Deliverables

  • Complete MS tube structure, securely fixed.
  • Fully installed, removable panel system (roof and walls).
  • Artificial grass laid and secured.
  • Functional driveway area with compacted blocks.
  • As-built drawings, material compliance certificates, and maintenance guides.

5. Materials and Equipment

Materials

  • MS Tubes (3x3 inch, 3mm thick, powder-coated)
  • Fiber or metal panels (3mm thick)
  • Concrete (for foundations)
  • Artificial grass (30mm)
  • Driveway blocks
  • Fixing accessories (bolts, screws, fasteners)

Equipment

  • Excavator
  • Concrete mixer
  • Welding and cutting machines
  • Lifting equipment (crane/hoist)
  • Measuring tools and levels

6. Project Timeline

  • Total Duration: 4 weeks (subject to weather and site access conditions)
  • Milestones:
    • Week 1: Site preparation and foundation works
    • Week 2: Structure erection
    • Week 3: Panel installation
    • Week 4: Grass and driveway block installation

7. Safety and Quality Assurance

  • PPE compliance for all workers.
  • Safety barriers, signs, and fire extinguishers to be maintained onsite.
  • All fabrication and installation work to be inspected and approved by QA/QC prior to proceeding to next phase.
  • All materials shall be inspected and tested as per relevant standards before use.

8. Assumptions & Constraints

  • Site will be available for uninterrupted work during project duration.
  • Utilities and access roads are assumed to be available and in functional condition.
  • Any changes in design or material specifications will require approval from the client and may affect cost/timeline.

9. Maintenance Considerations

  • All panels will be installed with removable fasteners to allow easy maintenance access.
  • Maintenance manuals will be provided for artificial grass and driveway systems.
