Summary

The epoxy flooring installed in J&G Buildings 1, 2, and 3 (excluding recently renovated DMCC areas) has significantly deteriorated due to age and heavy usage since installation in 2004. The flooring exhibits loss of slip resistance, cracking, and delamination, creating safety risks. The surfaces have reached the end of their service life and require comprehensive replacement.

Scope of Work

• Remove existing deteriorated epoxy flooring from workshop corridors, lift lobbies, and staircases across J&G Buildings 1, 2, and 3 (excluding DMCC renovated areas).

• Prepare and repair the existing floor substrate where required.

• Supply and apply new heavy-duty epoxy flooring system.

• Carry out comprehensive replacement of the deteriorated epoxy flooring to restore safety, durability, and compliance with current operational and aesthetic standards.

• Allow proper curing and conduct final inspection prior to handover.
