Summary

The MEKAR FAHU located on the 13th floor rooftop of J&G Building 3 has suffered severe and irreversible damage due to prolonged exposure to corrosive chemical fumes. A faulty scrubber fan system allowed continuous exposure, resulting in extensive corrosion of the cooling coil and heat wheel. The unit is beyond repair and unsafe for operation, requiring full replacement along with rectification of the scrubber and filtration systems.

Scope of Work

• Dismantle and remove the existing damaged FAHU including cooling coil and heat wheel assemblies.

• Supply and install a new FAHU of equivalent approved capacity and specification.

• Replace the faulty scrubber fan system.

• Rectify and upgrade the scrubber and filtration systems to prevent future chemical exposure.

• Reconnect chilled water, ductwork, electrical, and control connections.

• Test and commission the complete system to ensure safe and reliable operation.
