Scope of Work – Generator Cooling System & Diesel Tank Maintenance

Materials Required
- Radiator Hose (Top)
- Radiator Hose (Bottom)
- Thermostat
- Fan Belt
Scope of Work
- Drain and remove all water contamination from the diesel tank.
- Clean the diesel tank thoroughly to remove water, sludge, and impurities.
- Remove and replace the top radiator hose.
- Remove and replace the bottom radiator hose.
- Remove and replace the engine thermostat.
- Remove and replace the fan belt.
- Remove the radiator and carry out a complete radiator service, including:
- Internal flushing and cleaning.
- Pressure testing for leaks.
- Repair or replacement of the top and bottom radiator tanks (if required).
- Reassembly and installation.
- Refill the cooling system with the recommended coolant mixture.
- Start the generator and perform functional testing to ensure:
- No coolant leakage.
- Correct engine operating temperature.
- Proper fan belt tension and operation.
- Generator operates normally under standby conditions.
Note
- All replacement parts shall be compatible with the Perkins engine installed on the generator.
- All work shall be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
- The contractor shall dispose of all removed materials and waste in accordance with local environmental regulations.
- Upon completion, the contractor shall submit a service report confirming all maintenance work carried out and the generator's operational status.

Terms and Conditions:

The contractor shall complete all works within the agreed timeline, subject to delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather conditions), which must be promptly communicated.

All materials used must meet the agreed-upon specifications and standards as stated in the scope of work. Any deviations must be approved in writing.

The contractor is responsible for ensuring the safety of their personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Any damage caused to the property during the work process must be repaired or compensated by the contractor at their own expense.

Payment terms, including any advance payments, progress payments, and final payments, must be agreed upon in writing before commencement of work.

The contractor shall provide a warranty for the completed work for a duration of 12 months, covering workmanship and material defects.

The contractor is required to secure all necessary permits or approvals for the work to be carried out.

The client reserves the right to inspect the work at any stage to ensure compliance with the agreed standards and scope.

Any additional work outside the original scope must be documented and approved by both parties before execution.

In case of any disputes, both parties agree to resolve the matter amicably or through mediation/arbitration as per the local laws.

The contractor shall maintain confidentiality regarding any sensitive information related to the property or project.

The client reserves the right to terminate the contract in case of non-compliance with the terms and conditions or unsatisfactory progress, subject to prior notice and opportunity to rectify issues.
