1. Demolition & Site Preparation

• Removal of existing pool tiles and underlying screed from the designated pool

area.

• Careful dismantling to avoid damage to surrounding structures.

• Collection, removal, and legal disposal of all debris and waste materials to a

municipality-approved yard

2. Waterproofing Works

• Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare the exposed concrete substrate to

ensure proper bonding.

• Supply and Installation of Bitumen Membrane:

o Application of bitumen waterproofing membrane as per best industry

practices.

o Membrane thickness to be 4 or mm minimum should be 2 layers.

o Overlaps shall be no less than 100 mm at side laps and 150 mm at end

laps, fully torch-applied to ensure complete adhesion and seal.

• Membrane application to cover all pool surfaces including walls and floor

3. Tiling Works

• Supply and Installation of Pool Tiles:

o Supply and lay pool-grade waterproof tiles over the specified area of

[170 m²].

o Tiles to be suitable for constant water immersion and resistant to pool

chemicals.

• Epoxy Grouting:

o All tile joints to be filled with epoxy grout, ensuring durability, water

resistance, and chemical resistance across the entire area.

4. Civil Works

• All necessary civil works related to surface levelling, patching, slope

correction, screed application, and preparation for tiling are to be included in

the contractor’s scope

- Any necessary repairs to the pool structure to be carried out prior to

waterproofing.

5. Delivery & Warranty

• The contractor is to propose the shortest possible delivery and completion

period without compromising on quality and workmanship.

• Longest warranty period to be offered on both waterproofing and tile

installation, with details provided in the quote.

• Minimum 5 years warranty

• Flood test of newly waterproofed area for 72 hours.
