Scope of Work for Rectification of Smoke Management System
1. Fire-Rated Mechanical Works:
Remove existing fire-rated GI ductwork sealants and gaskets for:
(2) Staircase Pressurization Fans
(1) Makeup Fan at Mechanical Floor
Replace with new fire-rated gaskets and sealants.
Apply 2-hour fire-rated painting for Staircase and Lobby Pressurization ducts inside the shaft, including:
(1) Coat of red oxide primer
(1) Coat of fire-rated paint (1632 Sq.mts)
Supply and install:
Non-Return Dampers (NRD) for Staircase and Lobby Pressurization Fans
Motorized Dampers (MD) for Staircase and Lobby Pressurization Fans
Motorized Fire Dampers (MFD) for each Pressurization Fan
Pressure Release Dampers (PRD) for each Pressurization Fan
Electrical works:
Install new electrical connections for (2) MFDs
Repair existing electrical faults
Fire alarm interfacing:
Supply and install containment and cables for (2) MFDs and (3) MDs
2. Civil Works:
Construct concrete/block walls around MFD at Mechanical Floor (2 Nos.)
Create and seal wall openings in shaft for:
Duct access inside shafts, including plaster and painting
Installation of PRD (2 Nos.)
Apply fire-rated sealant around:
MFD and PRD
Leaks around ducts inside shafts
MSFD (Lobby Pressurization Motorized Smoke Fire Damper) inside each corridor
General Requirements:
Contractor must adhere to all relevant fire safety regulations and standards.
Work schedule to be coordinated with the facility management team.
Proper waste disposal and site cleaning upon completion of work.
Provide necessary certifications and compliance documentation upon completion.
