1. Project Overview:
This project involves the rectification of the faulty blower unit of FAHU-1 located on the service floor of Dubai Gate 2. The objective is to restore the full operational functionality of the FAHU system by replacing the damaged blower, which has been found to be non-functional due to wear and tear. The work shall ensure the system's energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with relevant HVAC standards.
2. Scope of Work:
A. Blower Unit Removal
• Isolate the FAHU unit as per standard HSE protocols.
• Disconnect electrical and mechanical connections of the existing blower.
• Safely dismantle and remove the faulty blower unit from the FAHU system.
• Transport and dispose of the damaged unit following approved environmental guidelines.
B. Supply & Installation of New Blower
• Supply a compatible replacement blower matching original specifications as per the existing.
• Perform alignment checks and prepare the mounting base.
• Install the new blower unit, ensuring correct fitting and vibration control.
• Connect all electrical terminals and mechanical components (belts, pulleys, couplings).
C. Testing & Commissioning
• Conduct operational testing of the FAHU system post-installation.
• Monitor performance parameters including airflow, vibration, and noise levels.
• Ensure stable and smooth operation of the new blower under load conditions.
D. Safety & Compliance
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Place warning signs and safety barriers around the work area.
• Work to comply with Dubai Municipality and HVAC safety regulations.
E. Documentation & Handover
• Submit blower specifications, warranty documents, and installation report.
• Provide before/after photos of the FAHU blower unit.
• Obtain client sign-off upon successful commissioning.
3. Warranty
• Minimum 1-year warranty on the supplied blower unit covering manufacturing defects.
• Warranty on workmanship for blower installation and integration.

Note:
• Contractor to do detailed site survey during the mandatory site visit.
• Proposal shall consist of all the material requirements and measurements. Any variation requests after issuing LPO or thereafter will not be accepted by client.
• Any services, item of work or small detail not specifically mentioned but inferred and necessary for the satisfactory operation of the system or installation shall be provided by the Contractor without any additional cost to the Client.
• Contractor will arrange their own materials/equipment when needed for carrying out the work.
• Contractor is responsible to use their own tools (third-party certified) and access equipment whenever needed for satisfactory completion of job.
• It is the responsibility of the contractor to follow all applicable Dubai Municipality and UAE regulations.

Terms & Condition

Payment will be done after work completion upon submitting the invoice along with work completion/service reports/warranty certificates. 

As per standards

No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless: 

(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and 

(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 

The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
