Scope of Works:
Contractor/service providers are advised to inspect the site and measure the pipe length and diameter independently. The below - mentioned measurements are approximate and provided for reference only.
Pipe Details:
Tower - Length (m) - Size/Diameter (inches)
- Tower A – 84 m -10 inches
- Tower A – 78 m – 08 inches
- Tower A – 40 m – 06 inches
- Tower A – 25 m – 2.5 inches
- Tower B – 90 m – 10 inches
- Tower B – 24 m – 08 inches
- Tower B – 24 m – 2.5 inches
- Tower B – 14 m – 2.5 inches
Materials Specification:
- XLPE Insulation Foam Type (Aerofoam or Competitive Brand)
- Thickness: 50 mm
- Removal of Existing Insulation:
Remove and safely dispose of all damaged, wet, or deteriorated insulation from chilled water pipelines in the risers of Tower A and Tower B. - Pipe Surface Inspection and Cleaning
Clean and inspect exposed pipe surfaces for corrosion, leakage, or damage before installing new insulation. Any defects shall be reported to the Client. - Supply, Installation and Material Approval of New Insulation
Supply and install new, approved, high-quality, moisture-resistant insulation suitable for chilled water pipelines across all applicable riser floors in Tower A and Tower B. The contractor shall submit insulation material specifications, technical data sheets, thickness, density, and manufacturer details for Client approval before commencement of work. - Proper Sealing and Finishing
Ensure all joints, bends, fittings, valves, and connections are properly insulated and sealed to prevent condensation and moisture ingress. - Technical Compliance
All materials and installation works shall comply with applicable technical standards, manufacturer recommendations, and project requirements. - Health and Safety Requirements
The contractor shall provide approved PPE, safe access equipment, ladders/scaffolding where required, warning signs, and necessary safety arrangements throughout the work. - Security and Access Control
All workers shall comply with building security procedures, carry valid identification, and access only authorized work areas. Materials and tools shall not obstruct emergency exits or common areas. - Final Inspection
Final inspection will be conducted upon completion of the work to verify that all insulation works have been completed as per the approved scope and required standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Contractors/service providers submitting quotations shall meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- Valid Dubai Trade License- The contractor shall hold a valid trade license issued by the relevant authority in Dubai.
- Relevant Licensed Activity- The relevant activity pertaining to the proposed scope of work must be clearly mentioned on the contractor’s trade license.
- Third-Party Liability Insurance- The contractor submitting the quotation shall have valid third-party liability insurance coverage of at least AED 1,000,000.
Terms & Condition
Payment terms are 30 days after submission of Invoice to accounts@itihad.co.ae (read receipt requested) along with signed work completion or service report and any other documents required by the bank to release funds from RERA regulated escrow account
The Supplier certifies that to the best of his knowledge and belief no economic, beneficial, or managerial relationship exists between the Supplier and any employee of Itihad Community Management (ICM) or between Supplier and any relative of an employee of ICM or any of its agents, which would tend in any way to influence such employee in performance of his or her duties on behalf of ICM or its agents in connection with the awarding, making, amending, or making a determination concerning performance of its proposal the work or the agreement.
Exchanges or offering of any money, gift item, personal service, entertainment or unusual hospitality by the Supplier to the employees or agents is expressly prohibited. This prohibition is equally applicable to officers, employees, or immediate family members of ICM’s agents. Any violation of this provision constitutes a material breach of ICM’s terms of agreements.
ICM may by written notice to the Supplier disqualify and reject the Supplier’s proposal and terminate the agreement without any liability whatsoever on part of ICM or any of its agents if finding (a) that vendor violated the certification contained in this declaration regarding conflict of interest; or (b) that gratuities were offered or given by the Supplier or any of its employees , agents or representatives, to any officers or employees of ICM or its agents awarding making and/or amending an RFP document or agreement or securing favorable treatment with respect to the performance of such agreement.
Itihad Community Management is not under any obligation to accept the lowest or any proposal.
In the event the Management deems the work unsatisfactory or encounters delays, it reserves the right to impose penalties on the Service
Provider or terminate this Work Order with a 3-day prior notice.
