CCTV System Maintenance Contract

Scope of Services

1. Troubleshooting, Assessment & Repairs
   • Troubleshoot surveillance system issues.
   • Assess faulty equipment.
   • Repair or replace equipment (subject to approval).
2. Non-Comprehensive AMC
   • The contract is on a Non-Comprehensive basis.
   • The quoted AMC value covers professional services only; spare parts and major repairs are chargeable.
3. Maintenance & Repair Services
   • Perform major and minor maintenance of installed surveillance systems.
   • Services include:
     • Installation
     • Maintenance
     • Repairs
     • Equipment and parts replacement
     • Staff training
     • Technical consulting
     • Preventive maintenance visits
     • Reporting services.
4. Technical Support
   • Provide remote telephone support.
   • Provide on-site repair and replacement services.
   • Coordinate maintenance of installed surveillance devices.
   • Perform repairs on-site whenever possible.
5. Temporary Replacement Equipment
   • If equipment is taken off-site for repair, make every reasonable effort to provide temporary replacement equipment of equivalent functionality upon request.
6. Repair Turnaround
   • Make every reasonable effort to provide and install replacement equipment if repairs are expected to exceed 24 hours.
7. Response Time
   • Assess malfunctioning equipment within 4 hours of receiving a service request.
8. Warranty Coordination
   • Liaise directly with equipment manufacturers regarding warranty claims and repairs.
9. Preventive Maintenance
   • Perform preventive maintenance and update equipment inventory.
   • Conduct maintenance as required, with a minimum of one preventive maintenance visit per year.
   • Equipment is deemed operational at the time of contract onboarding.
10. Maintenance Reporting
    • Provide a preventive maintenance report for each site detailing:
      • Services performed
      • Health/status of each component
      • Recommendations for replacement or additional maintenance.

Included Minor Maintenance

• Inspection and cleaning of cameras, DVR/NVRs, monitors, and accessories.
• Functional testing (recording, playback, alarms, motion detection).
• Cable and network connectivity checks.
• HDD health and recording verification.
• Basic software/configuration checks.
• Camera adjustments and minor rectifications.
• Remote viewing support, video backup assistance, and maintenance reports.

Major Maintenance (Chargeable)

• Repair/replacement of:
  • Cameras
  • DVR/NVR units
  • Hard drives
  • Monitors
  • Power supplies, UPS, batteries
  • Network switches, routers, PoE switches
  • Damaged cabling
• System restoration and data recovery support (where feasible). Labour and spare parts are chargeable.
