B6.09–Generator Service

Scope of Work

3 Minor PPM and 1 Major PPM per year without spares, including 24x7 unlimited emergency call out supports, top-up oil, coolant, battery waters.

• Check Operator’s Log for any abnormalities.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Check air filter elements & clean.
• Check the radiator coolant & top-up (if necessary).
• Check battery conditions & electrolyte level (top-up, if required)
• Start & check genset manually and check the performance of the gen set.
• Check & record the readings on run hour meter.
• Check engine-mounting bolts.
• Check the cooling system.
• Check the pressure sensor & temperature sensor.
• Check the fan hub and fan idler pulley.
• Check vibration dampers and water pump.
• Check the alternator & AVR as general.
• Check the battery charger conditions & its operations.
• Check the controller.
• Cleaning of radiator and air cleaner.
• Run the generator with no load for 15 minutes.
• Record the temperature readings, RPM, frequency y, voltage, KW readings while running the generator in off/on load.
• Drain the engine oil and replace once yearly or after every 250 run hours (whichever comes earlier) – Included once a year.
