To properly repair and service Transfer Pump 3, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
❖ Analyze the Source of Noise: Based on the diagnostic results, determine whether the noise is due to issues like:
• Cavitation or improper suction.
• Worn-out bearings, seals, or shafts.
• Misalignment of pump and motor.
• Blockages or foreign material in the system.
• Electrical issues in the motor.
❖ Rectification Plan may include:
• Replacement of mechanical seals, motor bearings, 'O' rings, shaft sleeve, and bush bearing kit.
• Stator cleaning and motor shaft polishing.
• Acid washing of pump sides.
• Reinstallation of parts and pressure testing.
• Replacement and alignment of impeller bushes.
• Cleaning and refurbishment of the impeller chamber.
❖ Post Rectification work, System Calibration and Testing should be carried out:
• Reassembly: After repairs, reassemble the pump, ensuring all components are aligned and sealed properly. Operational Testing: Perform operational tests to ensure the pump is functioning within specified parameters (flow, pressure, vibration).
• Noise Reassessment: After reassembly and repair, run the pump under normal operating conditions to ensure that the noise has been eliminated or significantly reduced.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the pump for stability, noise levels, and overall performance.
❖ Safety and Compliance:
• Safety Protocols: Ensure all work is carried out following safety standards and regulations (e.g., lock-out/tag-out procedures, PPE).
• Compliance with Standards: The vendor will ensure that all repairs and components used are in compliance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Risk Mitigation: Ensure no further damage is caused to the pump or surrounding systems during the repair process.
❖ Vendor Warranty and Support
• Warranty: Provide a warranty for the repaired components and work performed, typically covering a period of 6 months.
• Post-Repair Support: Offer support or follow-up visits if the problem persists or if any issues arise post-repair.
Terms & Condition

No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless: 

(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and 

(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 

The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.

Payment will be done after work completion upon submitting the invoice along with work completion/service reports/warranty certificates.
