Scope of
Work Overview:
The scope of
this project includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of a new
insulated GRP sectional water tank at the mechanical floor, including all
required modifications to plumbing connections, dismantling, and disposal of
the existing tank.
1. Supply
& Installation of New GRP Sectional Insulated Water Tank
1.1 Supply
of Materials
- Supply of GRP Sectional Water Tank
(Brand: PIPECO TANKS, MALAYSIA)
- Insulated hot-pressed GRP panels
(non-insulated bottom and manhole)
- WRAS-approved and backed with a 10-year
warranty
- All tank components and accessories as
listed below

- Internal Support System: Stainless Steel SS 316
- External Support System: Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) Steel
- Sealant Tape: Non-toxic PVC foam type
- Roof Vertical Support: Internal PVC pipe
- Metallic Parts: SS 316/A4 grade (internal), HDG

- Manhole: Ø750mm with sealed cover and lock
- Level Indicator: Clear tube type (without markings)
- Skid Base: HDG steel base with HDG bolts, nuts,
and washers

Installation Works
- Site preparation at mechanical floor
- Assembly of GRP tank and support systems

Dismantling & Disposal of Existing Water Tank
2.1
Dismantling
- Safe removal of existing water tank
(Size: 6m x 4.5m x 3m)
- Isolation and disconnection from
existing plumbing system
- Removal of associated components and
supports
2.2 Disposal
- Proper disposal of dismantled tank
materials and accessories in compliance with local environmental
regulations
- Site clearing and preparation for new
installation
3. General
Requirements
- All works must comply with relevant
local authority standards and codes
- Contractor shall provide method
statements and safety plans prior to execution
- Work to be executed by qualified
personnel only
- Site to be cleaned and restored upon
completion
- All required permits and inspections to
be coordinated by the contractor

Terms & Condition
No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless:
(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and
(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
