Greetings from ASTECO!

 

We are seeking for a proposals for Renovation of existing swimming pool tiles and swimming pool area at Dorra Bay Tower located in Marina, Dubai.


Renovation of existing swimming pool tiles and swimming pool area.

A. Main pool with jacuzzi area ‐188 Sqm 

B. Kids Pool 1 area ‐ 25 Sqm 

C. Kids pool 2 area ‐ 24 Sqm


A. Demolition of existing swimming pool tiles and swimming pool tiles and carting away of 

B. demolished material 

C. Construction of additional day bed area and seating areas inside the pool. 

D. Trimming of the surface to the required shape and level to desired 

E. Supply and installation of glass mosaic / ceramic tiles for the swimming pool 

F. NB: Our supply rate of tiles will be maximum AED 50/ sqm. 

G. Replacement swimming pool lights and flow control fittings 

H. Supply and installation of swimming pool coping tiles 

I. Waterproofing for the swimming pool 

J. Alteration of swimming pool steps as per DM Standards 

K. Supply installation of additional back wash line from swimming pool 

L. The Detailed Engineering Design will be carried out, and shop drawings will be prepared upon 

M. appointment and receipt of Advance payment. 

N. NB: The tiles for the Pools interior surface will be ceramic tile/Glass Mosaic tiles fixed with epoxy 

O. glue and grout. 

P. NB: A contrasting‐collared tile may be set at the angle on the edge of the pool steps for safety 

Q. purposes, if required.

R. SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF LIGHTS AND FLOW CONTROL FITTINGS 

     a. Inlet ‐ 10 Nos 

     b. Drain – 10 Nos 

     c. Vacuum point ‐ 3 Nos 

     d. Overflow Drain ‐ 30 Nos 

     e. Jacuzzi Jet Nozzle – 4 Nos 

     f. LED Lights ‐ 12 Nos

S. Supply & Install Pools coping fixed with LATICRETE EPOXY 300 AND WEBER EPOXY GROUT. 

T. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

Swimming Pool Area 

1. Deck area ‐ 625 Sqm 

2. Boundary wall Length – 95mtr


A. Demolition of existing swimming pool deck tiles and carting away of demolished material 

B. Trimming of the surface to the required shape and level to desired 

C. Relocation of shade structure pillars 

D. Supply and installation of aluminium shade for shower area 

E. Supply and installation of green fence 

F. Supply and installation of aluminium cabanas 

G. Supply and installation of GRP Planter pots 

H. Supply of GRP Sun bed for pool area 

I. Supply and installation of RAK floor tile for the swimming pool deck area. 

 NB: Our supply rate of tiles will be maximum AED 50/ sqm. 

J. Waterproofing for the swimming pool and pool deck area and planter area 

K. The Detailed Engineering Design will be carried out, and shop drawings will be prepared upon appointment and receipt of Advance payment. 

L. Testing, Commissioning & Handover


Note: 

1. Contractor / consultant to do detailed site survey during the mandatory site visit. 

2. Proposal shall consist of all the material requirements and measurements. Any variation requests after issuing LPO or thereafter will not be accepted by client. 

3. Any services, item of work or small detail not specifically mentioned but inferred and necessary for the satisfactory operation of the system or installation shall be provided by the Contractor without any additional cost to the Client. 

4. Contractor will arrange their own materials/equipment when needed for carrying out the work. 

5. Contractor is responsible to use their own tools (third-party certified) and access equipment whenever needed for satisfactory completion of job. 

6. It is the responsibility of the contractor to follow all applicable Dubai Municipality and UAE regulations.

Terms & Condition

No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless: 

(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and 

(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 

The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
