Scope of Work

A. Pipe Freezing work and valve supply and installation in 21st Floor CHW line @ Horizon tower

Pipe Freezing work

· Inspect the site prior to commencement of work.

· Carry out pipe freezing as required on the 4-inch pipeline using the liquid nitrogen pipe freezing technique.

· Ensure proper isolation of the system without draining or shutting down the complete line.

· Provide all necessary manpower, equipment, consumables, and safety measures required for the freezing operation

CHW line Gate Valve Supply & Installation

· Cut the existing CHW line for installation of the new valve.

· Install a new flange for the gate valve.

· Supply 2 Nos. heavy-duty 4-inch gate valves suitable for the system.

· Install the valves at the designated location after pipe isolation.

· Perform alignment, jointing, and all required fittings to ensure a leak-free installation.

· Conduct final inspection and testing to confirm proper functionality of the valves.

Permissions & NOCs	All required permissions to be obtained by the vendor.
Warranty	1-year comprehensive warranty.
Retention	10% of contract value to be held for 1 year as defect liability retention.
Coordination	Contractor to coordinate with building management to minimize disturbance to residents.
Safety Compliance	Must comply with UAE safety and municipality regulations.
Insurance	Vendor to provide valid insurance for manpower, material, and liability.

Terms & Condition

No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless:

(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and

(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
