1. Objective

To ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of all hotel guests, staff, visitors, and assets by providing professional, reliable, and effective security services in compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

2. Scope of work 

The Security Service Provider shall be responsible for delivering the following services under the guidance and supervision of the Hotel Security Management:

a. Access Control & Guest Safety

• Control and monitor entry/exit points of the hotel.

• Verify and register visitors, contractors, and vendors in line with hotel procedures.

• Support guest identification and safety protocols while maintaining hospitality standards.

b. Patrolling & Surveillance

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of hotel premises.

• Monitor CCTV and other electronic security systems.

• Detect and report suspicious activities or safety hazards promptly.

c. Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond immediately to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and guest complaints.

• Assist in fire, medical, and evacuation procedures.

• Maintain detailed incident reports for review by Hotel Security Management.

d. Emergency Preparedness

• Support hotel fire evacuation drills and other emergency exercises.

• Provide first responder support until specialized services arrive.

• Coordinate with local authorities when required.

e. Asset Protection

• Safeguard hotel property, equipment, and sensitive areas from theft, loss, or damage.

• Control movement of materials and goods in/out of the hotel.

f. Support to Hotel Operations

• Assist in crowd management during events and peak hours.

• Provide VIP escort and guest support services as directed.

• Ensure alignment with hotel service standards, maintaining a balance of safety and guest experience.

3. Staffing & Deployment

• The Security Service Provider shall ensure adequate manpower coverage across all shifts. 

The required manpower is as follows:

1 x Female Security Officer (Lobby/front of house duties, guest support, female search when required)

2 x CCTV Operators (24/7 monitoring of security systems)

1 x Security Supervisor (On-site supervision, reporting, and shift coordination)

6 x Male Security Guards (Access control, patrolling, emergency response, and asset protection, etc)

All staff must be SIRA licensed, trained, and medically fit as per UAE legal requirements, with mandatory training in fire safety, first aid, evacuation, guest relations, and conflict management.

4. Supervision & Reporting

• Security staff shall work under the overall leadership of the Hotel Security Manager/Cluster Security Manager.

• Daily activity and incident reports must be submitted to Management.

• Regular performance reviews and compliance audits to be conducted.

5. Compliance

• Services must comply with UAE Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) and other relevant government regulations.

• Provider shall ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to the hotel’s policies.
