Scope of Work – Annual Water Tank Cleaning Contract

1. Regulatory Compliance

• All cleaning and disinfection must follow Dubai Municipality-approved methods, chemicals, and equipment.
• Documentation of cleaning and disinfection certificates for submission to authorities.

2. Inspection & Assessment

• Quarterly or bi-annual inspections of tanks to check for algae, bacteria, sediment, or structural damage.
• Reporting of any cracks, leaks, or corrosion in RCC, GRP, PVC, or steel tanks.
• Water quality checks (odor, color, turbidity).

3. Cleaning & Disinfection

• Drainage of tank water using pumps.
• Manual scrubbing and pressure washing of internal surfaces to remove dirt, algae, and biofilm.
• Disinfection with municipality-approved chemicals (e.g., chlorine-based solutions).
• Rinsing and flushing to ensure no chemical residues remain.
• Cleaning of inlet/outlet pipes, float valves, and manholes.

4. Preventive Maintenance

• Removal of sludge, sediment, and scale deposits.
• Checking and cleaning of screens, strainers, and filters.
• Ensuring proper sealing of tank covers to prevent contamination.
• Recommendations for repairs or replacements if needed.

5. Frequency & Scheduling

• Annual deep cleaning (mandatory).
• Interim inspections (quarterly or bi-annual depending on contract).
• Emergency cleaning if contamination is detected (e.g., algae bloom, foul odor).

6. Health & Safety

• Use of trained technicians with PPE.
• Safe disposal of contaminated water and sludge.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

7. Deliverables

• Cleaning and disinfection certificate.
• Inspection report with photos before and after cleaning.
• Recommendations for preventive measures.
• Logbook of service dates and findings
