Scope of Work – Yearly Contract

Service: Lifeguard Services

Duration: 12 Months

1. Objective

To ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users by providing qualified lifeguards who maintain vigilance, enforce safety rules, and respond effectively to emergencies throughout the year.

2. Service Inclusions

•             Staffing

•             Deployment of certified lifeguards during pool operating hours.

•             Coverage adjusted for peak usage, weekends, and holidays.

•             Backup lifeguards available to cover absences.

•             Safety & Supervision

•             Continuous monitoring of swimmers and poolside activity.

•             Enforcement of pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.

•             Immediate response to emergencies, including rescues and first aid.

•             Training & Certification

•             Lifeguards must hold valid certifications in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid.

•             Regular refresher training sessions (quarterly or bi-annual).

•             Documentation of certifications submitted to management.

•             Equipment & Readiness

•             Provision and maintenance of rescue equipment (buoys, poles, first aid kits, AED if required).

•             Daily inspection of safety gear and reporting of deficiencies.

•             Reporting

•             Incident reports for accidents, rescues, or rule violations.

•             Monthly service reports summarizing attendance, incidents, and recommendations.

3. Frequency of Service

•             Daily Coverage: Lifeguards present during all pool operating hours.

•             Emergency Response: Immediate action in case of accidents or medical emergencies.

•             Training & Drills: Conducted quarterly to ensure preparedness.

4. Deliverables

•             Certified lifeguards deployed as per agreed schedule.

•             Monthly service and incident reports.

•             Annual summary report with recommendations for safety improvements.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

•             Compliance with Dubai Municipality / local authority regulations for pool safety.

•             Lifeguards equipped with proper uniforms and PPE.

•             Adherence to occupational health and safety standards.

6. Exclusions

•             Major medical treatment beyond first aid and CPR.

•             Security services outside pool premises.

•             Maintenance of pool infrastructure (to be handled separately).
