Carry Out Planned Preventive Maintenance on Quarterly basis ( 4 visits per year ) in order to service the UPS in accordance with the manufacturer recommendation,
1-check all the alarms ,adjust if necessary ,
2-check the UPS operation ,monitor the status,
3-check all the audible alarms, adjust if necessary,
4-check UPS fans are working properly,
5-check no signs of overheating,
6-check and measure and record voltages and currents,
7-carry out battery test via UPS display and check all the battery status,
8-Gain full access to the UPS interior wherever it is possible ,
9-carry out a thorough examination of the UPS power components and sub-assemblies,
10-check electrolytic capacitors for sign of leakage ,
11-check magnetic components for signs of overheating, delaminating and security of fixture,
12-check cables and connections for chaffing ,fraying or signs of overheating,
13-Thoroughly clean inside the equipment enclosure using a vacuum cleaner and low pressure air to remove any foreign debris,
14-our maintenance excludes all the spare parts and batteries,
15-visual inspection for any alarms through display and internal control boards,
16-cleaning of UOS control boards and inlet sides,
17-clean the battery terminal,
18-check the float voltage and charging current,
19-check battery condition with the connected load,
20-check all necessary parameters for the UPS and modify if required,
21-check condition of cooling fan and service ,
22-check power simulation test which includes inverter and static bypass,
23-submit a maintenance report after each visit
