Scope of Work – Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)

Service: Sump Pit Tank Cleaning

Duration: 12 Months

1. Objective

To ensure sump pit tanks remain clean, hygienic, and fully operational throughout the year, preventing blockages, foul odor, and contamination risks while complying with health, safety, and environmental standards.

2. Service Inclusions

•             Inspection & Assessment

•             Initial survey of sump pit tanks to assess condition, capacity, and accessibility.

•             Monthly/quarterly inspection reports with photographic evidence.

•             Cleaning & Removal

•             Mechanical and manual removal of sludge, silt, grease, and debris.

•             Pumping out wastewater and sediments using suction equipment.

•             High-pressure jet washing of tank walls, floors, and inlet/outlet pipes.

•             Disinfection

•             Application of approved disinfectants to eliminate bacteria and odor.

•             Ensuring eco-friendly chemicals are used, compliant with local regulations.

•             Waste Disposal

•             Safe collection, transport, and disposal of sludge/waste at authorized facilities.

•             Documentation of disposal (waste transfer notes, receipts).

•             Preventive Maintenance

•             Checking pumps, valves, and drainage connections for blockages or leaks.

•             Minor corrective actions (tightening, unclogging, lubrication).

•             Recommendations for major repairs or replacements.

3. Frequency of Service

•             Routine Cleaning: Quarterly (2 times per year) or as per site requirement.

•             Emergency Cleaning: On-call basis within 24–48 hours of request.

4. Deliverables

•             Detailed service report after each cleaning (date, scope, findings, corrective actions).

•             Waste disposal certificates from authorized facilities.

•             Annual summary report with recommendations for long-term upkeep.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

•             Workers to be equipped with PPE (gloves, masks, boots, harnesses).

•             Compliance with Dubai Municipality / local environmental regulations.

•             Emergency response plan in case of hazardous waste or accidents.

6. Exclusions

•             Major civil works (structural repairs, tank replacement).

•             Electrical/mechanical replacement of pumps or motors (unless separately contracted).

•             Any work outside sump pit tanks unless explicitly agreed.
