- Removal of Existing Marble:
- Carefully dismantle and remove the existing damaged
marble tiles from all eight (8) elevator areas.
- Ensure no structural damage is caused to the
elevator surfaces during removal.
- Any reusable components (if applicable) to be
handed over to management.
- Procurement and Supply of New Marble:
- Supply and deliver new marble tiles as per the
approved design, size, thickness, and color selected by management.
- Ensure all marble meets quality standards for
durability, finish, and aesthetics.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain the timeline
and delivery schedule.
- Surface Preparation:
- Clean and level the surfaces in all lift areas
prior to installation.
- Apply necessary primers or bonding agents to ensure
secure adhesion.
- Address any surface defects or unevenness to ensure
smooth installation.
- Installation of Marble Tiles:
- Install marble tiles with precision, maintaining
proper alignment, level, and seamless joints.
- Use approved adhesives and techniques to ensure
long-term durability and resistance to wear.
- Polish and finish surfaces to achieve a high-end,
smooth appearance consistent across all elevator areas.
- Finishing and Detailing:
- Carry out final polishing, sealing, and cleaning of
the installed marble.
- Ensure that edges, corners, and transitions are
clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Conduct a final inspection jointly with the client
or management.
- Waste Management and Disposal:
- Remove and dispose of all dismantled marble,
debris, and waste materials in accordance with Dubai Municipality
regulations.
- Transport waste to designated disposal sites
without disrupting normal building operations.
- Keep the worksite clean and free of hazards at all
times.
Terms & Condition
No Subcontracting: In accordance to Jointly Owned Property Law No.6,2019, Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement, the vendor/contractor may not use any subcontractor to perform any of his obligations under this work order. Unless:
(a) Vendor has obtained the prior written consent of SAGA to the use of the subcontractor, and
(b) Vendor has entered into a separate written agreement with the subcontractor which requires the subcontractor to agree to and abide by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
The Community shall be deemed to be a third-party beneficiary of any such agreement between the vendor and a permitted subcontractor.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the vendor shall not be relieved of any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement as a result of entering into a written agreement with a permitted subcontractor.
