Servicing will be conducted Every 03 months. After each service visit, a practical test of workability will be conducted and a test certificate will be made and issued. During each service visit maintenance work will be carried out as described here under. Fire Alarm Control Panel
• The alarm function of the control panel will be checked by means of a trigger device in each zone. All auxiliary functions of the control panel will also be tested where practicable. All fault indicators and their circuits will be checked preferably by stimulation of fault conditions. The control and indicating equipment will be cleaned and faults rectified at each visit.
• All connections will be examined to be intact and free from any sort of dust and corrosion.
Fire Alarm Test Procedure
• Main fire control panel with LCD and function of various kcy switches
• Voice alarm status
• Play evacuation message
• Play all clear message • Fireman’s telephone communication both ways
• Check all the digital amplifiers status and functions
• Check all the interlocks
• Check the information management system (computer station)
• Check the computer graphic as available on site
• Check the function and status of repeater
• Check the status of batteries for healthy status. (faulty battery shall be replaced at extra cost)
• Check operation of random selected dampers from FA system override panel
•Check operation of random selected smoke extract fan from the override panels
• Check reference voltages on network terminations to ensure proper functioning of network.
• Fire alarm & trouble test for fire devices (detectors, call points, sounders/strobes etc.)
• Contaminated detectors will be identified.
• Functional test of control panel, voice system, computer graphic as available on site.
• Network & communication tests
• Input and output interface functional test

1. Gcncral inspection and checking of all the Fire Hoses, Nozzles, landing valve, Hose Reels, sprinklers, Fire Cabinets and Pump Set.
2. Check line pressure /gauge /pressure switch and valve connections
3. Check the operation of all Hose Reel each after three months.
a. Clean and Check hose reel cabinets and lubricate hinges.
b. Inspect the swing mechanism of each hose reel unit and lubricate where Necessary.
c. Run out hose and check for damage or deterioration. Check nozzles
d. Physical inspection of equipment, i.e. no physical damage or corrosion or Leakage
e. Check discharge water pressure rating.
f. Check inspection of valves, nozzles
4. Check and verify the connection, monitoring the pump sets are working from the FACP.
5. Check the Fire Pump set.
a. Visual inspection of pump room pipe work, joint and fittings for leakage. Check corrosion and paint work.
b. Activate Electric pump, check start sequence.
c. Activate Diesel pump, check start sequence .and temperature. (Where Fitted),
Shutdown mechanism. Check the batteries, charger, water & fuel
d. Annually change oil and filter, comptroller's fuel, check pump alignment and Coupling conditions.
e. Check motor set.
f. Check pressure switch operation, setting, flow switches, pump run timers, systems Standing pressure and fall back.
g. Inspect all valves.
h. Lubricate moving parts as necessary.
6. Inspect the fire extinguisher System and provide maximum assurance that they are operating effectively. Providing thorough examinations and doing necessary repair or replacement. Ensuring that it's filled with extinguishing agent as per the manufacturer recommendations and specifications...
7. Ensure that extinguishers are located in the designated place.
8. Secure tampered seal where necessary.
9. Check the mechanical function of all the fire extinguishers components.
10. Sticker will be fitted to all extinguishers and hydrant indicating the inspection date and provision.
